Starbucks Partner Brand
300,000 partners (Starbucks employees) is a lot of people. Starbucks employs more than that around the world. Crazy right? I led the team over the better part of a year pitching, poling, refining, and building a cohesive, digitally-forward brand framework that would go on to serve every partner. We defined a communication strategy to unify more than 20 different employee portals, dozens of sub-organizational brands, numerous digital products and tools, internal Sharepoint sites, back of house posters, iconography styles, color palettes, illustration usage, typography approaches, and photography intent. Throughout the process we created guiding principles, refined them through a real time feedback loop, and the end of it all, delivered a thoughtful and comprehensive document that continues to drives a cohesive experience for Starbucks partners.
